We evaluate:

• pupils

• eye muscles, eye coordination

• visual field, field of vision

• refraction (nearsightedness, astigmatism, reading prescription)

• overall eye health (dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc)

• starting at $118

If you suddenly have a problem with your eyes and need an office visit. This does not include refraction, eyeglass check, and is not a comprehensive routine exam.

• starting at $85 per visit, depending on medical exam level

To update your prescription, refit into a different brand, or train for your first pair of contacts. Required in California to renew contacts prescription.

 

We provide:

• soft contact lens fittings, includes a complimentary pair of contacts and travel size solution

• gas permeable fittings

• astigmatism contacts

• multifocal and monovision contacts, to see without reading glasses

• $60-120 additional charge, depending on evaluation level

• $55 additional charge for training, required for all first time contact lens exams. Not covered by insurance.

We are phasing out orthokeratology CRT overnight hard contact lenses at our office. We are moving towards other treatments:

• Atropine Ophthalmic drops

• Progressive eyeglasses

• Digital single vision glasses with small reading power

• Multifocal soft contact lenses

Don't have time for pupil dilations? Retinal imaging is an alternative test that allows us to screen for many retinal diseases including:

​

• glaucoma

• macular degeneration

• diabetic retinopathy

• hypertensive retinopathy

• $39, may cost less depending on vision insurance
